Join Some Friends From Annapolis for the Annual Pumpkin Walk and Full Moon Tour at the Hammond-Harwood House on Oct. 23
October 16, 2015
"A five part Anglo-Palladian (derived from 16th Italian architect Andrea Palladio) mansion that features some of the best woodcarving and plasterwork in America," the Hammond-Harwood House, built in the 18th-century, will surely offer a unique backdrop to the spooky events happening at this Annapolis museum this month!
On Friday, Oct. 23, the Hammond-Harwood House will host a Pumpkin Walk, a popular annual children's event that includes a costume parade, as well as fun, educational activities centered around the museum's history. The walk, which costs $10 for children to join, takes place from 4-6 p.m. and will be followed by Hammond-Harwood House's popular Full Moon Tour, which takes place at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. For $15, this interactive tour recounts the real dangers early-19th-century Americans faced once day turned to night.
Tickets to both events can be purchased online. See you there, Annapolis!
