See the Chesapeake Bay in a Whole New Light During Lights on the Bay at Sandy Point State Park, Not Far From Annapolis
December 18, 2015
Here in Annapolis, Lights on the Bay is a beloved holiday tradition—and it's not too hard to see why! Featuring more than 70 light installations, this annual light show at Sandy Point State Park transforms a two-mile stretch of road alongside the Chesapeake Bay into a winter wonderland. That's right: This display is experienced from the comfort and warmth of your car!
The animated and stationary displays follow festive seasonal themes, along with a few nods to the Annapolis area. What's more, two new displays will be unveiled this year: the North Pole Village and Enchanted Fairy Tales. Little ones can earn cool prizes by participating in the event's nightly scavenger hunt, and everyone will enjoy seeing the displays through the lenses of 3D glasses, available for purchase upon entry!
Taking place through Jan. 2, Lights on the Bay charges an admission fee of $15 per passenger car. Don't miss it!
